UUJMCA honors creating justice as the natural expression of our Unitarian Universalist faith - building a society that values the worth and dignity of all; promoting justice, equity and compassion in human relations; actively moving towards a goal of peace, liberty and justice for all; and transforming our world into one that respects the interdependent web of all existence.
UUJMCA is growing to support California UUs and congregations - exploring new ways to connect our communities, support existing and new justice leadership, collaborate on justice initiatives, and move us towards a world of universal, collective liberation.
UUJMCA is unique in its ability to cultivate the grassroots power of UUs and congregations, connect UUs to statewide partners, and join with national UU and issue-based advocacy organizations. Our accontable relationships to our partners and our history of organizing in California enables UUJMCA to engage justice-making in a complete and intentional manner - at all levels of policy-making and social transformation. And we do this while continuing to offer our statewide and regional trainings, skill-building and experiential learning opportunities each year.
UUJMCA is committed to encouraging UU justice makers to claim their power, developing UU justice leaders, strengthening our congregational justice ministries, and advancing justice in collaboration with partners and directly-impacted/front-line communities.
Your pledge of support will determine what we can create together. We know that there are many ways to give to the work of justice - and we ask that you give whatever amount you feel comfortable with, be it $5 or $500.
Your one-time, tax-deductible support allows UUs around California to embody our collective power as we create collaborative, sustainable, and faithful justice.
