Community Action Circle for Immigrant Justice
Friday, May 29 - 12pm-1:15pm
California has shown itself to be a leader in the movement for immigrant rights. And yet, we know that there is so much more needed before the worth and dignity of our immigrant siblings is truly honored in our state.
Join UUJMCA for this lunchtime gathering of community and collective action, during which we will have the opportunity to collectively complete dozens of actions for immigrant rights as identified by our statewide & local immigrant justice partners. We'll check-in with each other, engage in some spiritual grounding practices, and then have an online part of actions where we'll make calls, write letters, send emails, sign petitions, and more!
Sign up today! Space is limited for this gathering to 20 people.
Our agenda for this Community Action Circle on Friday, May 29 will include:
The Community Action Circle model was developed by the UU Service Committee and UU College of Social Justice, to be shared across the country.
